匠心薈「管韻古今」音樂會

早在文字記載的歷史之前，人類就已經開始吹響空心管子嘗試奏樂。考古學家發現了距今超過 6 萬年的骨笛——這些簡單的「帶孔管子」證明音樂自古以來都是我們生命中不可或缺的一部分。中世紀時期，管樂器家族中最重要的早期成員包括中世紀木笛和簧管樂器。木笛在漫長的歷史長河中幾乎沒有發生任何變化，而簧管樂器則經歷了翻天覆地的演變。粗獷的戶外肖姆管逐漸演變為優雅的雙簧管，而質樸的庫塔爾管則發展成為現代的巴松管。 在這場音樂會中，匠心薈將邀請大家踏上一段穿越近千年的西方音樂旅程。

樂團將使用古樂器——這些「帶孔管子」的歷史版本——進行演奏，展示聲音、風格和音樂品味的變遷，並為各位呈現一系列交織熟悉與陌生色彩的音樂。

PIPING THROUGH THE AGES

Long before written history, humans were already making music by blowing air through hollow tubes. Archaeologists have uncovered bone flutes over 60,000 years old—simple “pipes with holes” that prove music has always been part of who we are.

During the Middle Ages, two of the most important early members of the pipe family include the medieval recorder and the reed families. The recorder has remained surprisingly unchanged across time, while reed instruments went on a dramatic journey of transformation. The bold, outdoor shawm gradually refined into the elegant oboe; and the rustic curtal grew into the modern bassoon.

In this programme, L’Artiste invites you to travel through nearly a thousand years of Western music. By performing on period instruments—historical versions of these “pipes with holes”—the ensemble reveals how sound, style, and musical taste have changed, and bombards you with an array of familiar and unfamiliar colours.
